YOKOHAMA, 28 Aug 2019: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is set to hold key talks with a number of African leaders participating in the Seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD-VII) which opened here Wednesday and runs until Friday, Presidential spokesman Bassam Rady said.

Rady told reporters that President Sisi will receive on Thursday Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Hiroshige Sekō to discuss major joint projects and development projects as well as investment opportunities available in Egypt, mainly in the fields of transportation, renewable energy, infrastructure and new cities topped by the New Administrative Capital along with projects of developing education in Egypt.

Earlier Wednesday, President Sisi toured the Egyptian pavilion at the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) held on the sidelines of TICAD summit, Rady said.

Sisi will also attend later today an official reception ceremony hosted by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe and mayor of Yokohama for the leaders participating in the summit, Rady added
