CAIRO, Aug 26 (MENA) - The Planning, Monitoring and Administrative Reform Ministry said that the Social Solidarity Ministry has allocated LE4.215 million to prepare 37 family planning clinics within the framework of the current fiscal year of 2019/2020.

In a statement on Monday, the Planning Ministry stressed the importance of human and social development, adding that the ministry's plan aims at raising the standard of living of the citizens via containing the inflation rate and starting to apply initiatives related to the comprehensive health insurance system.

The plan also aims at activating the social care program and expanding national and public utilities projects, the ministry added.

The government will proceed with implementing financial and economic reforms to back the social protection nets that will in turn help in improving the standard of living of citizens, the ministry said.

On June 20, the Social Solidarity Ministry launched a family planning campaign, under the slogan "Two are Enough," aiming to contain the phenomenon of overpopulation.
