Egypt strongly condemns terrorist attack in Iraq's Kirkuk

CAIRO, Aug 25 (MENA) - Egypt strongly condemned a terrorist attack that targeted a football pitch in Dakuk district of Kirkuk in the north of Iraq earlier Sunday.

The attack left six civilians dead and nine more injured.

Egypt condoles with families of the dead and wishes the injured a speedy recovery, a statement by the Foreign Ministry said.

It voiced support for the Iraqi government and people in the fight against terrorism, extremism and violence.
