CAIRO – 21 August 2019: The international terrorist organization of the Muslim Brotherhood has accumulated huge assets and fortune in Europe, which enabled it to finance its devious activities across the world, but how did the group managed to do this?

Haytham Sharabi, a human rights researcher, told Egypt Today in an interview that the Brotherhood's branches in Europe are taking advantage of tourism and travel offices, social services offices, Islamic centers and associations, as tools for fundraising and recruiting young people to join terrorist organizations such as ISIS, al-Qaeda and other militias in Iraq, Syria, Libya and Yemen.

According to numerous reports, armed militias and terrorist groups in Arab countries are being funded and supported by Qatar, Turkey and Iran.

Tehran alone is supporting Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Iranian Militias in Iraq and Syria (IMIS) in Iraq and the Houthis in Yemen, which all have been responsible for a number of incidents and crimes under the Iranian flag.

Sharabi further added that the Brotherhood also exploits the activities of associations and their affiliates in money laundering, diversion and concealment of illegal assets in order to trade in weapons.

Turkey has been also accused of smuggling weapons and terrorist fighters to Syria, Yemen and Libya in order to sow discord and enflame the scene to serve its scheme to control the whole Arab region and the Middle East.
