MARSA MATROUH, Egypt, Aug 17 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi asserted Saturday the importance of coordination with the Agriculture Ministry, chambers of commerce and businessmen in order to control the Egyptian market mechanisms.

President Sisi was commenting on remarks made by head of the National Company for Protected Agriculture Mohamed Abdel-Hai during the opening ceremony of national projects including 1,300 greenhouses on an area of 10,000 feddans as part of the second phase of Mohamed Naguib sector for protected agriculture in Marsa Matrouh.

Sisi added that the state is working to control the market mechanisms via increasing the supply of products, noting that such an aim does not prevent coordinating with businessmen and others working in these sectors.

President Sisi described the population growth as a challenge facing the state, therefore the state tried as hard as possible to choose areas with large numbers of people to set up such projects.

Addressing the opening ceremony of the second phase of Mohamed Naguib sector for protected agriculture, President Sisi called for finalizing Al-Mahmoudiya axis project in Alexandria within two or three months because it will help achieve welfare for the governorate, underscoring the importance of relocating al Hadra market to another suitable area.
