Health minister inspects development works at Alamein hospital

CAIRO, Aug 13 (MENA) - Minister of Health Hala Zayed inspected Alamein hospital to follow up the implementation of her directives issued on the first day of Eidul Adha to upgrade the hospital's departments.

In a statement released Tuesday, spokesman for the health ministry Khaled Megahed said the minister held a meeting with the hospital officials and representatives of the company tasked with finalizing development works.

Mohamed Zarif, the hospital's director, said it is ready to receive patients, adding that the entire medical staff is working round the clock.

The first phase of development works at the hospital will be completed next week, he noted.
