Sacrificial animals' prices soar ahead of Eid Al-Adha in Saudi
CAIRO, Aug 11 (MENA) – Head of the General Organization for Veterinary Services Abdel Hakeem Mahmod said a total of 3,715 sacrifice animals were slaughtered for free on the first day of Eidul Adha nationwide.
He detailed in a statement Sunday that 2,613 cows and buffaloes and 1102 goats, sheep and camels were slaughtered in abattoirs, noting that the charge-free services will be available for citizens on all days of Eidul Adha.
Mahmod added that all sacrifice animals underwent medical examination to ensure the safety of their healthy meat.
