CAIRO, July 29 (MENA) - The head of this year's official Egyptian Hajj mission, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mohamed Abdel Aati, has urged Egyptian pilgrims to abide by all security and safety instructions.

Abdel Aati received a report on Monday about the activities of the Awqaf Ministry's mission since the day of its arrival in Saudi Arabia.

The mission's activities include organizing awareness lectures and seminars about the Hajj rituals.

Out of 54, some 22 imams and preachers participating in the Hajj mission have already arrived in the Saudi cities of Mecca and Medina to carry out their assignment in serving pilgrims, the report showed.

They have been notified to be present at their designated positions at the holy sites in both cities to respond to pilgrims' inquiries and provide them with any assistance they might need, according to the report.
