Defense minister heads to Washington for talks with US counterpart

CAIRO, July 27 (MENA) - Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamed Zaki left for Washington, leading a high-profile military delegation to the US.

The visit comes upon an official invitation from US Secretary of Defense Mark Esper.

The Egyptian defense minister is set to hold a session of talks with his US counterpart on a number of issues and topics of mutual concern with the aim of developing bilateral relations and military cooperation.
