CAIRO – 16 July 2019: Italian Ambassador in Cairo Giampaolo Cantini said Tuesday that the Italian government is investing in human capital from the young generation in Egypt.

The ambassador pointed out that innovation is one of the areas that will benefit from the concessional loan agreement signed by Egypt and Italy in December 2018, which will provide €45 million to support small and medium scale enterprises.

He added that the Italian Embassy is working to foster creativity and innovation among Egyptian youth, in cooperation with the Egyptian authorities.

He further noted that this is the second activity to be held as part of a series of activities that were launched in April under the title "emerging talented youth".

This came at a meeting with Egyptian entrepreneurs in the field of communication and information technology within the framework of activities aiming at raising the profile of talented young Egyptians.

The activities are held in cooperation with the Egyptian online publication E7kky.com.
