State Council legislative department to revise NGOs bill after House approval

CAIRO, July 15 (MENA) - The legislative department at the State Council received Monday a draft law on regulating the non-governmental organizations (NGOs) practices, which was approved by parliament.

The legislative department will revise the bill as part of measures taken before it is passed into law.

A committee will be formed to do the job, said deputy chairman of the State Council Abdel Razeq Mahran in a statement.

The bill consists of 97 articles that need to be revised, Mahran noted.
