Bahrain's Foreign Ministry summons Iraqi Charge d’Affaires

MANAMA - 28 June 2019: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain on Friday summoned Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom of Bahrain Mohammed Adnan Mahmoud al Khafaji, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

Assistant Undersecretary of GCC and Arab Countries Affairs Ambassador Yusuf Mohammed Jameel conveyed to Khafaji Bahrain's protest against the attack on its embassy in Baghdad on Thursday.

It further described the attack as irresponsible and highly reprehensible behavior.

Ambassador Jameel added that the Ministry welcomes statements by the Iraqi government condemning the attack.
