Azhar university organizes int'l conf. on higher education in Africa

CAIRO, June 23 (MENA) - Al Azhar University in cooperation with the Association of African Universities will organize a conference under the rubric "The role of higher education institutions in boosting higher education strategy in the African continent" on July 8-11.

In a statement on Sunday, the university said this conference, which is held each two years, will discuss issues of mutual interest especially the priorities needed for developing higher education in African universities and educational institutions.

As many as 300 heads of universities and representatives of the international authorities, 180 universities and 43 international institutions will participate in the event.
