CAIRO – 9 June 2017: Major-general Ahmed Bassiouny, the head of the district of Al-Azarita, supervised on the housing of families affected by the crisis of Al-Azarita’s leaning building on Wednesday June 7, with the cooperation of the Ministry of Social Solidarity.

Half of the total floors of the building in Ali al-Khashkhani’s street have been already amputated, and families have received their belongings safely from all the apartments.

The other remaining floors are currently being removed under the supervision of the dean of the engineering university in Alexandria, added Dr. Mohamed Sultan, governor of Alexandria.

With the cooperation of Al-Amereya, Sultan assured the provision of 48 residential units for the families of the sloping building.

Sultan emphasized to the employees in position the importance of being at ease with the affected families, regarding the awful situation they are going through.
