CAIRO – 5 June 2019: The Petroleum Projects & Technical Consultations Co (Petrojet) succeeded, in cooperation with the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, in implementing a number of strategic projects in record time.

The projects were implemented according to the highest standards of quality and safety with a total value of LE 22 billion, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek el-Molla said Tuesday.

Molla stressed on the oil sector's continuation to carry out its national role by participating in the implementation of national projects and development plans, which mark a new beginning for Egypt towards an ambitious economic start.

The minister explained that these projects will contribute positively to giving a strong push to the Egyptian economy and achieving a significant qualitative leap, putting Egypt on the threshold of a new stage of economic growth in the coming period.

He pointed out that the petroleum sector was one of the main partners in the implementation of a number of national and strategic projects through Petrojet which is one of the main arms of the petroleum sector.

Molla pointed out that one of the most important projects that Petrojet implemented was the construction of the car tunnels under the Suez Canal in Ismailia, which is one of the largest national and strategic projects of the country.
