Saeed Hindam, a new ambassador to Montenegro - PPA

CAIRO - 14 May 2019: Egypt appointed Saeed Hindam, a new ambassador to Montenegro, who submitted his accreditation papers to Montenegrin President Milo Đukanović. He is also the ambassador of Egypt to the Czech Republic.

Đukanović praised the role played by President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi in Egypt on the level of the foreign affairs as a "factor supporting stability in the Middle East and North Africa region."

The Montenegrin President further expressed his interest in holding a series of political dialogues between both countries regarding counter-terrorism efforts, and achieving peace in the region.

Đukanović assured his country's support for the Palestinian cause, and that it voted against the transfer of the US embassy to Jerusalem.

He also showed his appreciation to the constructional role played by the Egyptian companies in Montenegro, especially that Egypt is the biggest foreign investor in the country with a total investments estimated at 1.1 billion Euro. He called on boosting bilateral trade relations, especially in building a direct navigation line between Port of Bar in Montenegro and Alexandria Port in Egypt.





من جانبه عرض السفير سعيد هندام إمكانية إنشاء مجلس لرجال الأعمال فى البلدين لتحقيق زيادة مضطردة فى حجم التجارة وبحث مزيد من المشروعات الاستثمارية، كما رحب الرئيس دجوكانوفيتش باقتراح إنشاء جمعية صداقة برلمانية تعمل على دفع الدبلوماسية الشعبية والتواصل على كافة الأصعدة بين البلدين.
