CAIRO - 3 May 2019: Egypt is sending humanitarian assistance to Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe to help them overcome the adverse effects of the Cyclone Idai, the Foreign Ministry announced.

The move is implemented upon directives from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in solidarity with the African countries following the Cyclone Idai which hit the three countries.

The humanitarian relief which includes tents and food along with pharmaceutical assistance will be delivered in cooperation with the Armed Forces.
