Egypt land of security, stability: Portuguese defense minister

CAIRO - 14 April 2019: "Egypt has managed to become a land of security and stability in a volatile region". the Portuguese Defense Minister Joao Gomes Cravinho said.

According to a statement issued by Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi, Cravinho said that the five-year successful Egyptian experiment headed by President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi acts as an inspiration to all countries in the region.

the statement added that the two sides discussed ways of enhancing military cooperation.

Early, Sisi received Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs Jacek Czaputowicz in Cairo. The two top diplomats discussed ways of boosting bilateral relations in all fields, as well as regional and international issues of common concern.

On Monday, April 15, President of the Arab Organization for Industrialization Abdel Moneam Altras will meet the Portuguese Minister of Defense, within the framework of the joint cooperation sought by the Arab Organization for Industrialization, with major countries and companies in the world.
