MOSCOW, April 8 (MENA) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said Monday that Moscow is in contact with all parties to the conflict in Libya and with the United Nations.

He said that he had talks over the phone with Ahmed Maiteeq, the deputy prime minister of the Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA).

"Ahmed Maiteeq, the deputy prime minister of the government of Fayez Sarraj, called me. It was the day before yesterday, when we had not arrived in Amman yet," the diplomat told reporters as quoted by Russia Today.

"We are working with the UN, with [the UN Support Mission in Libya's chief] Ghassan Salame... We also maintain phone contacts with every party the south, the east, the west and call for the political settlement," the diplomat told reporters.
