SINGAPORE, March 27 (MENA) - Irrigation Minister Mohamed Abdel Aati discussed with Singaporean Minister of State for the Environment and Water Resources Amy Khor boosting joint cooperation in the fields of water rationalization, water reuse, seawater desalination and climate change responses.

This came during his current visit of Singapore to get acquainted with the country's experiment in the area of water management and wastewater treatment.

Abdel Aati invited the Singaporean minister to attend Cairo Water Week 2019, set for October. For her part, Khor expressed readiness to cooperate with Egypt and exchange expertise in the field of water reuse.

During his stay in Singapore, Abdel Aati is scheduled to visit Nanyang Environment and Water Research Institute, which is one of the top research and technology organizations in the environment and water domain.
