FILE – Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry
CAIRO – 25 March 2019: Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will meet Tuesday, March 26 US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to discuss the bilateral relations between the two sides as well as the regional issues.
During his visit, Shoukry will hold a number of meetings with leaders of the US administration, members of Congress and various American circles.
In January 2019, Pompeo met with Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi at the presidential palace in Cairo and held talks with Foreign Minister Shoukry.
The meeting is set to tackle means to boost Egyptian-US ties in different domains along with regional and international files of mutual interest including the Palestinian cause, the situation in Syria, Yemen and Libya and means of combating terror.
