CAIRO - 18 March 2019: The Military Technical College and the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology organized the first in a series of training courses on composite structures design and production.

The duration of the course was 10 days and 194 students of 20 universities participated.

The participants were divided into 30 teams as they will contest in the first local competition for advanced composite structures to be held on July 27 - August 1.

A protocol was signed by the Military Technical College and the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology to carry out joint research projects, and qualify human cadres through educational and training programs.

That is in addition to supporting and marketing innovations and technology as well as patents, entrepreneurship, and promoting the concept of property rights.

The Cabinet indicated in its mid-year report to the Parliament that the expenditure on scientific research rose to LE 19.19 billion over the past six months as part of the Development of High and University Education System Program.
