CAIRO - 12 March 2019: The House of Representatives under Ali Abdel Aal has finally approved a bill submitted by the government on reconciliation in some building violations.

On Monday, the House speaker called on MPs to attend today's plenary session to hold a final vote on the draft law.

The bill allows reconciliation in the buildings that were constructed in violation to laws regulating the building process.

The draft law bans reconciliation in cases in which safety standards in construction are not applied.

The government will be able to receive the plea bargains within a period not exceeding six months after the issuance of the statutes of the law.
