SHARM EL SHEIKH, Egypt - 29 November 2018: Executive Secretary of the Convention on Biological Diversity Cristiana Palmer honored on Thursday security leaderships for their outstanding efforts to render successful the UN 14th Conference of Parties to the Convention on Biodiversity which is held in Egypt's Red Sea Resort City of Sharm el Sheikh from November 13 to 29.

Palmer commended the efforts exerted by security leaderships and their cooperation with work teams as about 7,000 people took part in the event.

Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad - who attended the honoring ceremony - said the honoring of top security officials under the wise leadership of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi sends a message to the whole world that Egypt is safe and secure and that Sharm el Sheik is the city of peace.
