CAIRO, Nov 28 (MENA) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić on Wednesday received Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, who is now visiting the country, according a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Hafez Wednesday Nov. 28.

The meeting took up means of boosting bilateral relations, added the spokesman, pointing out that Shoukry expressed Egypt's appreciation of a decision adopted by the two sides for upgrading the level of representation of the higher joint committee.

The decision reflects keenness of both sides to promote cooperation, the spokesman quoted Shoukry as saying.

The meeting also discussed means of fighting terrorism along with the situation in the Middle East, said the spokesman.

The Serbian president, added the spokesman, expressed appreciation of his country's relations with Egypt and sent his best regards to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi saying that he looks forward to receiving him in Belgrade in the nearest possible time.
