Facebook is back after error for several hours

CAIRO - 18 November 2018: Facebook is back once again after an outage that lasted for several hours.

Facebook users received a message on Sunday morning: "Sorry, something went wrong. We're working on it and we'll get it fixed as soon as we can," and the hashtag "Facebook Down” became a trend on Twitter.

Facebook users were unable to see new stories or news during the outage which lasted for 2 hours. The outage was not the first of its kind; Facebook suffered another outage two months ago.
