212 Egyptians return home from Libya via Salloum crossing

MARSA MATROUH, Egypt - 12 Nov 2018: As many as 212 Egyptians have returned home from Libya via the border crossing of Salloum.

Some 180 of the returned nationals had illegally traveled to the neighboring country, said Matrouh police chief Gen. Hisham Nasr on Wednesday.

Meantime, 928 people - 390 Egyptians and 538 Libyans - were allowed to leave into Libya, he said.

The terminal witnessed also the arrival and departure of 224 trucks over the past 24 hours, he added.
