CAIRO - 28 May 2017: The Giza police forces arrested Saturday a student suspected of mistakenly shooting a kid in the head, at Hosary square in 6th October city, which led to severely injuring him.

The suspect is believed to have fired his gun during his friend’s wedding, where he mistakenly shot Youssef, 13 years old, and another girl, Doaa, 22 years old, who happened to be in the shooting area by coincidence.

The shooting of the two persons was a mystery for talk shows and social media users.

Youssef and Doaa areat 6th October University Hospital in a serious condition; Youssef received a bullet in the head, and she was shot in the back.

Shooting bullets in the air is an old Egyptian celebratory tradition in weddings and happy occasions.
