Cabinet denies plans to cancel booklet system

CAIRO - 29 October 2018: The media center of the cabinet denied on Monday reports that the Education Ministry plans to cancel the booklet system applicable for Thanaweya Amma students.

The center contacted the ministry that categorically denied such reports, saying the new system managed to reduce exam leaks.

The new system was introduced in January 2017.

It requires students to provide their answers on the test sheet itself rather than on a separate answer sheet, as per the previous system.


The ministry urged all media outlets to verify the authenticity of reports before publishing them.
