WASHINGTON - 28 October 2018: US President Donald Trump has ordered all US flags on government property to be flown at half-staff through October 31 over the killing of 11 person in an attack on a synagogue on Saturday, the Voice of America reported.

The White House said the step is "a mark of solemn respect for the victims of the terrible act of violence.”

A suspect armed with an assault rifle and three handguns entered the synagogue in Pittsburgh, where about 80 people had gathered for weekly worship, as well as a circumcision ceremony.

The victims included three police officers.
