Tourist attractions condemn Minya terrorist attack

CAIRO – 28 May 2017: Some tourist attractions in the Arab world declared mourning solidarity with the victims of Friday’s terrorist attack in Minya left 29 dead, mostly children, while at least 25 others injured.

According to Emirates News Agency WAM , a several of tourist attractions and iconic buildings in the Emirates reflected colors of the Egyptian flag, such as Capital Gate building, a building company "ADNOC," Emirates Palace, and the Cleveland Clinic, and the Abu Dhabi market Oryx World on the island.

On Saturday night, Burj Khalifa, Dubai’s greatest icon was lit up in the colors of the Egyptian flag and several of prominent tourist attractions.

On May 26, The Royal Court of Jordan announced lowering the flag to half mast Saturday, in mourning of Minya victims.

Also the Tour Eiffel’s official Facebook page announced that the tower's lights would be turned off at 12:45 a.m., Saturday, to pay tribute to the victims.

Meanwhile Arab and International states strongly condemned the terrorist attack such as Saudi Arabia, United Arab of Emirates, Palestine, Iraq, Russia, United Kingdom and Germany.
