Belarus to build dairy farm in Egypt

CAIRO – 28 May 2017: Belarus will build 1,000-head dairy farm in Egypt and already formed a team to visit Egypt to determine the construction site, said the Belarusian Head of the main division for Foreign Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Alexei Bogdanov in a Sunday statement.

Bogdanov clarified according to the site Belmarket Byelorussian, the farm will be made up of Belarusian cattle. He added that previously Egypt had purchased 1,000 tons of whole milk powder, and is considering purchasing poultry and livestock.

This came on the sidelines of a meeting between Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei and Egyptian Minister of Commerce and Industry Tarik Kabil, in Egypt on May 25, where they discussed the importance of cooperation between the two countries.
