CAIRO – 14 October 2018: In response to President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi’s call to raise political awareness among Egyptians, a number of political leaders confirmed that they have clear plans to achieve that goal through the organization of training and educational courses.

This came during Sisi's participation in the 29th Educational Seminar of the Armed Forces.

The leaders also confirmed that false awareness poses a great danger on Egypt's stability, stressing the need to involve all state institutions in the process of raising the citizens' awareness.

Head of the Free Egyptians party Essam Khalil told Egypt Today that these campaigns are very important as they enable Egyptians to better deal with the current circumstances.

Kalil added that different state institutions and media platforms should always inform citizens of the facts, adding that the Free Egyptians Party organized awareness campaigns in Alexandria and other governorates across Egypt.

For his part, a member of the Future State Essam Amen said that lack of awareness among Egyptians is the biggest challenge facing the government especially in light of the rumors which seek to destroy the country.

Amen confirmed that the party aims at serving Egypt; hence, all the party's awareness campaigns are available to all Egyptians and are not limited to party members.

In the same context, Vice President of the National Protection Party, Mohamed Ghobashy, said that the party is working on training youth to boost political awareness.

On October 11, 2018, Sisi attended the 29th Educational Seminar of the Armed Forces, titled "October...Continuity of Generations”. The seminar coincided with the 45th anniversary of the October 6 war victory celebrations.
