Egypt to contribute to building int'l lab for arid zones, environmental affairs in China's Ningxia

BEIJING - 14 October 2018: China's Ningxia University signed an agreement with Egypt's National Research Center and Ain Shams University to take part in establishing an international lab for arid zones and environmental affairs in the Chinese autonomous region Ningxia.

In statements on Sunday, Ningxia University President He Jianguo said the lab will be specialized in studying resources in arid areas in China and Arab states in addition to developing crops of arid areas and developing water-saving technologies.

The agreement was signed during an international symposium which was held on Thursday on sustainable water resources and environment protection.
