Egypt, Italy discuss means of promoting joint cooperation

CAIRO - 10 September 2018: Italian Ambassador in Cairo Giampaolo Cantini discussed on Wednesday the course of Egyptian-Italian relations with Karim Darwish, head of the House of Representatives' Foreign Affairs Committee.

The two sides reviewed means of promoting mutual interests in several areas including illegal migration, trade, investments and culture, according a statement released by the Italian Embassy.

The meeting comes after the extensive tours recently undertaken by several Italian officials to Egypt.
