CAIRO - 9 September 2018: The National Railways Authority denied on Sunday news purported by some websites about a fire outbreak in Cairo-Kafr el Sheikh train.

In a statement, the authority said the train suffered a technical problem that caused some smoke to come out from it, but the problem was immediately handled.

This caused the train to delay 35 minutes.

The authority called for verifying the authenticity of the news from official sources.
