CAIRO – 8 September 2018: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli met with Higher Education Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar on Saturday to discuss preparations for organizing the best 2018/2019 Egyptian university competition.

The competition comes upon the directions of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, who called for organizing such competitions during the Youth Conference, held at Cairo University in July.

Madbouli stressed the importance of such directions by Sisi, noting that the universities play a major role in achieving the nation’s aspirations and dreams.

Abdel Ghaffar said that a panel, comprised of representatives from the cabinet, Higher Education Ministry, the Administrative Control Authority, and the Armed Forces Engineering Authority, has been formed to evaluate the 24 governmental universities participating in the competition.
