CAIRO – 24 May 2017: Minister of Supply Ali Moselhy announced new measures to upgrade control on the price hike will take place as of July this year, during a TV interview on Al-Nahar Channel Wednesday.

Moselhy told TV Presenter Khaled Salah that the ministry lacks the mechanisms and suffers a shortage in vehicles inspecting markets, in addition to the low financial capacity required to be able to monitor ‘greedy’ retailers.

He added that “Ahlan Ramadan” markets, displaying goods at lower prices, will be opened in all governorates until the first week of the holy month of Ramadan.

He further said that the ministry will announce a new hotline for citizens to change mistaken information recorded on ration cards.
