Chinese president holds banquet in honor of Sisi

BEIJING - 1 September 2018: Chinese President Xi Jinping held a banquet on Saturday in honor of his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fatah al-Sisi and his accompanying delegation.

Ahead of the banquet, the two leaders witnessed the inking of five cooperation deals in several fields.

Sisi and Xi also held a session of talks at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

Earlier in the day, Sisi arrived in China on a four-day visit, during which he will take part in the 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).

He is also set to hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang in addition to other senior Chinese officials
