CAIRO - 24 May 2017: Tahya Misr (Long Live Egypt) fund has announced a LE 100 million deal ($5.54 million) with Orman Charity Association, to develop 3200 houses across 100 poor villages, in a press conference held on Tuesday.

The fund was founded by President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi and contributed to the establishment of 4200 houses at 126 poor villages across the nation.

Earlier this month, President Sisi revealed that a total of 180 residential units for Egyptian families in the most dangerous slums will be finalized by June 30, 2018.

"I have a dream to replace the one-floor house with a two- or three-floors unit to eliminate building on agriculture lands," Sisi said in an interview on On E channel on May 1.
