CAIRO – 22 May 2017: Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces Mahmoud Hegazy held discussions with the UK’s Chief of Defense Intelligence Air Marshall Philip Osborn on some issues currently taking place and their impact on security and stability of the international and regional arenas, according to a statement issued on Monday by the Armed Forces spokesperson Tamer el-Rifai.

Both sides tackled means of boosting military cooperation between Egypt and Britain as well as promoting ways of exchanging information and expertise of the Armed Forces of both countries.

A number of Egyptian commanders of the Armed Forces and the British ambassador to Egypt attended the meeting.
