WASHINGTON – 2 Aug 2018: The U.S. intelligence community remains concerned about election security and Russia is still trying to interfere in American elections, Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats said on Thursday.

"We continue to see a pervasive messaging campaign by Russia to try to weaken and divide the United States," Coats said at a White House briefing with other intelligence agency leaders.

"We will continue to monitor and warn of any such efforts."
