CAIRO - 28 July 2018: Egypt's sixth National Youth Conference will be held over two days (Saturday and Sunday) and will witness seven sessions at the University of Cairo, Ambassador Bassam Rady, official spokesperson for the Egyptian presidency said on Friday.

Rady revealed that the 'Ask the President' service has received 600,000 questions to the president, saying that this is part of an effort to improve communication with citizens.

The 'Ask the President' service is hosted on the portal of the World Youth Forum (WYF), the first edition of which Egypt launched in November 2017.

A number of 'Ask the President' sessions were held during WYF last year and another conference earlier this year.

According to Rady, the minister of higher education Khalid Abdel Ghaffar will answer all citizens' questions related to the new educational system and will discuss the national strategy for education.

The service offers users the opportunity to submit questions on politics, the economy, as well as social and security issues. The page requires that users submit their age category, average monthly salary, job and marital status.

Users are also asked to answer polls about their favourite type of media; choosing between radio, TV, newspapers, social networking websites and online news websites.
