Minister of Tourism Rania al-Mashat celebrates France’s winning of World Cup 2018 alongside French ambassador Stephane Roumtier and fans at Institut francais d'Egypte on July 15, 2018 - Egypt Today/By Hussein Tallal

CAIRO - 15 July 2018: Egyptian Minister of Tourism Rania al-Mashat expressed her support to the French community in Egypt by sharing them the moment of France’s victory of World Cup 2018 at the French Institute in Cairo (Institut francais d'Egypte) on Sunday, alongside the French ambassador to Egypt Stephane Roumtier.

The minister celebrated the victory with the French fans that flocked to the institute at Mounira suburb in Cairo to watch the final match of World Cup 2018 between their national team and the Croatian one.

Ambassadors of Switzerland and Singapore were also attending the final game.

France beat Croatia 4-2 to win the football World Cup on Sunday, handing them their second victory in the competition after a successful campaign on home soil in 1998.
