PM: Gov't to deliver its policy statement before parl't before July 4

CAIRO - 25 June 2018: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said that the new government will deliver its policy statement before the House of Representatives before July 4.

In statements on Sunday after meeting with House Speaker Ali Abdel Aal, he added that the meeting aimed at coordinating efforts concerning the government’s policy statement.

He noted that the exact date will be set later with the parliament.

The constitution stipulates that the new premier must deliver the government’s policy statement before the parliament within 20 days of the formation of the cabinet.
