CAIRO – 15 May 2017: British tourism in Egypt witnessed a 16 percent increase in 2017, British Ambassador to Egypt John Casson tweeted Monday.




Casson confirmed that Thomas Cook, British travel agent, has increased its flights to Egypt and is expecting a further hike in the number of British tourists traveling to latter, after having reached 230 thousand in 2016.




The British ambassador initiated the hashtag #New_Tourism_Opportunities.
