RAMALLAH - 9 June 2018: A 16-year-old Palestinian teenager was shot with a rubber bullet in the foot, while dozens of Palestinians suffered from suffocation due to inhaling tear gas during clashes with Israeli forces in the town of Beit Ummar, to the north of the city of Al-Khalil (Hebron) in the West Bank, WAFA news agency reported on Saturday.

Mohammad Awad, an activist, told WAFA that Israeli forces accompanied by police dogs raided and ransacked a few homes in the town, adding that clashes erupted between residents and soldiers who shot rubber bullets, tear gas grenades and stun bombs at them.

Israeli troops also raided the city of Hebron and the nearby towns of Nouba, Kharas and Beit Kahel, where they searched homes.
