CAIRO – 10 May 2018: On Thursday, Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will meet with his Dutch counterpart, Stef Blok, at Qasr El Tahrir (Liberation Palace) in Cairo.

Both officials will expectedly focus on several issues of common interest and on ways to enhance the bilateral relations between the two states.

Following the meeting, Blok is due to visit the headquarters of the Arab Organization for Industrialization to learn about the progress made in the Egyptian industrial sector.

Previously Dutch Ambassador in Cairo Laurens Westhoff announced that a Dutch economic delegation will visit Egypt next week to boost mutual cooperation and to explore potential investment opportunities.

In press remarks, Westhoff also praised Egypt's ongoing economic reforms, asserting his keenness to encourage more Dutch investments in Egypt.

Egypt is the Dutch travelers’ most favorite tourist destination, NLTimes said in March.

In January 2018, EgyptAir took part in Utrecht Tourism and Travel Fair held in the Netherlands.

EgyptAir runs seven flights weekly from Cairo to Amsterdam which started around a year ago; the Netherlands is one of Egypt’s targets in its push for increased tourism to the land of the Pharaohs.
