CAIRO - 32 April 2018: Egypt's special forces and their Bahraini counterparts started conducting "Khaled Ibn Al Waleed 2018" joint military drills, which would continue for several days in Bahrain.

The drills include several activities and lectures to coordinate between them and exchange experience and know how .

The military exercises will include special forces training, counter-terrorism tactics, freeing hostages and storming facilities.

They come in light of the close and historic ties binding Egypt and Bahrain in addition to the ongoing coordination between their armed forces.

The aim of these drills is to reach the highest levels of efficiency and preparedness to face any danger that may pose a threat to the region's security and stability.
