RIYADH - 14 April 2018: The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday voiced full support to the airstrikes that were launched earlier in the day by the US, UK and France on military targets in Syria.
The military operations come in response to the Syrian regime's use of chemical weapons, said a reliable source at the Saudi foreign ministry.
Damascus is blamed for these military operations, the source said noting that the airstrikes by the three Western countries were prompted by the international community's passivity and repeated failure to take firm actions against the regime of Bashar al Assad.
